Class of 89 Alumni Passed away this week

It is with my deepest sadness that I must inform you that our very own Jacqueline Byrd has just passed away June 2, 2009. Please pray for her family and our classmates, as we all deal with the lost of our friend and classmate.

89Jan/Feb Dinner 2/21/09 & The Class of 89 Fundrasier 2/27/09

Well we really had a Great Time at Cesar's(Killer Margarita's) Not only was the Margarita's Good but the fellows showed up (Boo,Rush,Martese & Ernest) we really enjoyed having you come out. And also SSCA Classof 89 had their fundrasier at the Premiere in Dolton the turn out was great it was really nice to see familair faces and its always good to support you fellow Alumnist.

Event Description:Come one, Come all!! South Shore's Class of '89 will be partying like we're at the Homecoming Dance of our Senior year. A Year in review 2008!

Greetings Alumni,
Well 2008 is almost over we have the first African American President Barack Obama and we are all still alive and able to network with one another even though the economy is bad we must Thank the lord for waking us up every day and we have make the best of what we have. Our Holiday Party was great as always the pictures are in the gallery at(http://sscachicago.ning.com/) for you to view. Our Dinners have been Great we have been going to different places I hope to continue with more alumni participation.

I hope to see more of you all next year in 2009 it is always great seeing old friends catching up with whats going on with them. As many of you know the Class of 1991 20th year reunion is approaching in 2011 so thats roughly 3 years we need to contact and reconnect with as many classmates as we can to make the reunion a success. We also need to due at least 1 fundraiser each year to cut the cost of a Runion so we can have it some where really nice so if you have any ideas let me know.

So Send my email (southshorealumnibdayclub@gmail.com ) out to those you know so we can keep up with them and Class of 1992 you are right behind us so it would be a good time for you all to start gathering info on your classmates as well. I wish you all a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!
